Microgreens are vegetable seedlings that are harvested at a very specific point in the plant’s growth cycle between the sprout stage and the baby stage. Why use them? Well, besides being great for garnishes because of their visual appeal, microgreens are dozens of times more nutrient dense than their full-grown counterparts.
How can I use microgreens?
Get creative! The beauty of microgreens is that there is no right or wrong way to use them. No matter the meal, there is always a way to incorporate the nutrient-dense goodness of microgreens. Some of our favourites include: Smoothies, salads, sandwiches, burgers, pizza, hotdogs and many more!
Why our microgreens?
Our microgreens are unique from seed to packaging. We are committed to buying local which is why our non-GMO seeds, compostable containers and even our labels are purchased from Canadian companies. We also optimize the growing process to be as resource efficient as possible.
